Beibei Du

Du Beibei is an Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, and Master's Supervisor in the Department of Cardiology at the China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree, has completed postdoctoral research, and was a visiting scholar at the University of Toronto.

His main research areas are interventional cardiology and cardio-oncology. He specializes in interventional treatment of complex coronary artery lesions. He studied at Stanford University in the United States and the University of Toronto in Canada.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC); a member of the Complex Coronary Intervention Group of the Chinese Society of Cardiology(CSC), a member of the Chest Pain Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA), a member of the Cardiovascular Imaging Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, a member of the Youth Committee of the Cardiovascular Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, a member of the Youth Expert Committee of the Heart Failure Management Center of the Chronic Disease Center of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

As the first author and corresponding author, he has published 21 SCI papers in journals such as JACC Cardio-oncology, CMAJ, and JAHA; he has presided over two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Fund and General Program projects, and 12 other projects including the Jilin Provincial Natural Science Foundation General Program; and he has presented at more than 20 top domestic and international cardiovascular conferences (Euro PCR, Great Wall International Congress of Cardiology-ICC, and the Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society of Cardiology). He received the titles of Excellent Instructor of Jilin University Scientific Research Training Program, Excellent Individual of Jilin University Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital, Bethune Benevolent Mentor, Bethune Outstanding Young Physician.
