Professor Donata Kurpas is a full-time senior researcher and lecturer at the Division of Research Methodology, Department of Nursing, Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Wroclaw Medical University (WMU). She holds a Medical Doctor degree (1999) and a PhD in Family Medicine (2003) from WMU, with a habilitation in Family Medicine (2014) and a full professorship (2020). She is a certified specialist in Family Medicine (2005) and Public Health (2017), as well as a certified psychodynamic psychotherapist (certification: December 2024).

She actively integrates family medicine and psychotherapeutic training elements into undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including training for residents specialising in family medicine.
