Short Biography

Hang Quach is a haematologist specialising in multiple myeloma. She is Professor of Haematology at the University of Melbourne and serves as Head of Department and Director of Research at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM). She leads the SVHM Myeloma Program and oversees its clinical trials unit, which runs over 135 active phase I to III clinical trials investigating novel therapies in haematological malignancies.

Professor Quach currently serves as Co-Chair of the Myeloma Working Group of the Australasian Lymphoma and Leukaemia Group (ALLG), Deputy Chair of the Myeloma Scientific Advisory Group (MSAG) for Myeloma Australia, and a Steering Committee Member of the Australasian Myeloma Research Consortium (AMaRC).

Her clinical research focuses on novel therapeutics for multiple myeloma and the development of regionally relevant trials that translate into practice across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region
