Lauren J Breen

Lauren Breen is a community psychologist, researcher, author, TEDx speaker, and a professor of psychology at Curtin University. She is internationally recognised for her work on the psychology of grief and loss over the lifespan and their interactions with mental health. She has delivered invited presentations in 8 countries. In 2022, she received the Research Recognition Award from the Association for Death Education and Counseling (USA). In 2023 and 2024, she was recognised as Australia’s research field leader in the category Hospice and Palliative Care.
