Short Biography

Scientific Director and Head of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Division at the Istituti Clinici Scientifici Maugeri Research Institute in Telese, Italy. He was a research fellow at Papworth and Addenbrooke’s Hospitals in Cambridge, UK. He completed his PhD in the Department of Pharmacology at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, where he conducted research on exhaled nitric oxide in both the upper and lower airways. He is currently conducting research on airway inflammation and the outcomes of pulmonary rehabilitation.
