Short Biography
Rachel Golub is Professor of Immunology at Université Paris Cité and leads the Innate Lymphoid Cell Development and Inflammation research group at Institut Pasteur in Paris. Her research lies at the interface of immunology, developmental biology and cancer, with a focus on innate lymphoid cells (ILCs), their development and plasticity, and their interactions with tissue microenvironments. Her work uses experimental models to investigate how ILCs contribute to tissue homeostasis, inflammation and cancer, with current interests including hematopoietic stem cell niches and tumor immune responses. She has led multiple competitive research projects funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), Fondation ARC, Fonds Amgen France and Carnot programmes.and received the Georges Zermati Foundation Prize and the Amgen France Award. Beyond research, she is strongly engaged in graduate education, mentoring and scientific evaluation, and serves on national and international scientific and editorial boards. She is interested in interdisciplinary collaborations that connect fundamental immunology with human biology and disease and enable the translation of mechanistic findings toward clinically relevant questions.
