Reza Ghanei Gheshlagh

REZA GHANEI GHESHLAGH earned his B.Sc. in Nursing from Hamadan University of Medical Sciences, followed by a M.Sc. in Critical Care Nursing from Urmia University of Medical Sciences, and a Ph.D. in Nursing Education from the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, Tehran. He gained extensive professional experience at Saghez Imam Khomeini Hospital, Kurdistan, Iran, from April 2005 to October 2011. Dr. Ghanei Gheshlagh is a faculty member in the Department of Nursing at Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences, Sanandaj, Iran, and his research interests focus on scale development and systematic reviews. In 2022, 2023, and 2024, he was recognized among the top 2% of the world’s most-cited researchers according to Stanford University’s list. Nearly half of his research activities have been conducted internationally. From December 2024 to August 2025, he was affiliated with the University of Lahore, Pakistan, where he contributed to the establishment of the Ph.D. program in Nursing. Since February 2025, he has been serving as an Adjunct Professor at Biruni University, Istanbul, Turkey.
