Short Biography

I received my PhD in Oncology in 2007 from the University of Paris Diderot. During my PhD, I worked on the identification of tumorigenesis pathways and genetic alterations involved in the development of benign hepatocellular tumors. After a post-doctoral internship at the Curie Institute focused on the identification of molecular factors of tumor progression and new therapeutic targets in bladder cancer, I joined the team led by Pr. Jessica Zucman-Rossi where I was appointed as a Researcher in 2014 at the Inserm. Currently, I lead a small group entitled “Therapeutic Targets in liver Tumors” at the Cordelier’s Research Center in Paris in the Inserm unit UMS-1138 and the team led by Pr. Jessica Zucman-Rossi. My main research topics are focused on the study of molecular basis of tumor initiation and progression and the application of targeted treatments as well as the identification of biomarkers predictive of the therapeutic response in adult and pediatric liver cancers through the development of preclinical models.
