Professor Syed Esam Mahmood, MD, MBBS, PhD

Prof. Syed Esam Mahmood is a Professor of Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, King Khalid University. He holds an MBBS and MD from Era’s Lucknow Medical College. He has pursued multiple advanced certifications, including a certificate course in Medical Informatics (2021) and courses on clinical teaching skills from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and King Saud University. He was awarded the International Science, Technology & Research Awards Congress 2024. His work in public health, epidemiology, and medical education has resulted in over 150 research publications and contributions. His research interests include maternal and child health and the epidemiology of diseases.
