Current Position & Clinical Roles
Dr. Antonio Aversa is a Full Professor of Endocrinology at the University of Catanzaro Magna Graecia, within the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine. He serves as the Director of both the School of Specialization in Endocrinology and Metabolic Disease and the Master's degree course in "Clinical Andrology". Furthermore, he is a teaching professor of Endocrinology for several specialization schools and coordinates the outpatient Andrology unit at the Renato Dulbecco University Hospital.
Education & Professional Training
- Medical Degree: Earned his Master's degree in Medicine and Surgery (summa cum laude) from the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
- Post-Academic Studies: Completed specializations in Endocrinology, Metabolic Diseases, and Andrology; earned a PhD in Andrological Sciences; and obtained a Master's degree in Research Enhancement and Development (RED) at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
- International Training: Undertook a stage abroad at the Department of Andrology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in 1994.
