Short Biography

Experienced research scientist with a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), specializing in the identification and functional analysis of novel non-coding RNA (ncRNA) molecules. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher & Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Biology at NKUA and a Lecturer at Metropolitan College - University of East London (Faculty of Health). As an active member of the global network Greek Scientists Society (GSS), leverages interdisciplinary collaborations and genomic technologies to advance Molecular Oncology and Transcriptomics. Possesses a strong background in high-impact academic research, European science funding pathways, and higher education.

Core Competencies:

• Transcriptomics | qPCR & RT-PCR | Bioinformatics | Cell Culture | Gene Expression Analysis

Research Interests:

• Regulation of gene expression by microRNAs and other non-coding RNAs in human cancer models

• Identification and characterization of novel ncRNA molecules

• Genomics & Transcriptomics: Investigation of alternative splice variants and their role in carcinogenesis and leukemogenesis

• Pharmacogenomics: Identification of novel tumor biomarkers and therapeutic targets
