Short Biography

Ricardo Antonio Polanczyk, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Protection at the São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil. He holds a Ph.D. in Entomology and has extensive experience in insect pathology, biological control, microbial pest management, and integrated pest management. His research focuses on the use of microbial agents, including Bacillus thuringiensis, entomopathogenic fungi, and endophytic microorganisms, for the sustainable management of agricultural pests. He has authored numerous scientific publications, supervised graduate and undergraduate students, and coordinated national and international research projects supported by agencies such as FAPESP and CAPES. He currently contributes to teaching, research, and innovation activities in agricultural entomology, with an emphasis on sustainable crop protection and the development of environmentally friendly pest management strategies
