Sarad Pawar Naik Bukke

Prof. Sarad Pawar Naik Bukke, MPharm, PhD, is a Professor of Pharmaceutics at Victoria University, Kampala, Uganda, with 15 years of academic and research experience. His research expertise includes pharmaceutics, nanomedicine, advanced drug delivery systems, nanocarriers, nanobiomaterials, formulation development, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics and targeted drug delivery.

His research interests focus on novel drug delivery systems, nanoparticle-based therapeutics, exosome-based delivery, nanobiosensors, nanomedicine, and translational pharmaceutical research. He has extensively contributed to peer-reviewed research publications and scholarly book chapters, including research on nanomedicine, drug delivery, precision medicine, and biomedical applications.

He has received several recognitions, including the Third Best Research and Publication Award (2023–2024), the R. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Eminent Associate Professor and Research Award (2024), and a Certificate of Research Excellence for 41 Scopus/WoS-indexed publications (2025).

He is passionate about innovative drug delivery, nanomedicine, pharmaceutical formulation development, precision medicine, interdisciplinary research, and translating emerging technologies into practical health-care solutions.
