Hamidreza Ashayeri, M.D, born in 2000 in Meshginshahr, Iran, obtained his M.D. from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz, Iran, in 2026. Since 2023, he has been affiliated with the Student Research Committee in Tabriz. After graduation, he started to work in the Research Center for Evidence-Based Medicine, Iranian EBM Centre: A JBI Centre of Excellence, Faculty of Medicine, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, Tabriz, Iran, as a Researcher and Research Conductor.

Dr. Ashayeri has authored articles and book chapters in various fields, including artificial intelligence, ophthalmology, and neurology. His primary research interests encompass artificial intelligence, ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, ocular oncology, ocular imaging, retinal imaging, genetics, deep learning, and machine learning. He is a peer reviewer for more than 20 prestigious and reputed journals such as Scientific Reports, PLOS ONE, PLOS Digital Health, Journal of Medical Internet Research (JMIR) Research Protocols, Frontiers in Medicine, etc.
